Submission

The 3rd International Symposium on Short Film, Video and Photography, organized by apart Art Association, will take place on October 24–26, 2025, at Kadıköy Barış Manço Cultural Center in Istanbul. This year, for the first time, all submissions will be processed exclusively through the new online submission and evaluation platform developed by apart. In order to submit, participants are required to create an account on the platform. All stages of the submission process—including evaluation and communication—will be conducted solely through this system. Where necessary, participants will be contacted via the email address provided during registration. The symposium accepts submissions in two formats: abstracts for oral presentations and video essays. For both formats, a 150–300 word abstract must be submitted, in either Turkish or English. All submissions will be evaluated through a triple-blind peer review process conducted in accordance with academic standards.
